Dianne and I are so very grateful to all those who have supported us through the years. You make this ministry possible and share in the reward.
Special Personal Need
As most of you know, Dianne suffered a stroke in August of 2022, and spent a total of 11 days in the hospital, 7 of which were in ICU. Not one of the doctors who attended her in ICU believed she would survive, but God had mercy on us! Dianne’s lower two heart chambers were affected by the stroke, operating at only 10%, so a pacemaker was installed. Her blood pressure is now under control with medication and she is also receiving treatment for arthritis and asthma.
Unfortunately, the stroke in 2022 caught us without medical insurance, and left us with huge medical bills. After negotiation, we obtained discounts from most of the medical providers. In addition, some generous personal financial gifts from friends and family have allowed us to make a good head start on eliminating this debt, but we still have far to go.
We were able to secure medical insurance which kicked in January 1, 2023.
Dianne was doing fairly well, but had a setback, a second (but thankfully a lighter) stroke, on June 9, 2025. Her medications were adjusted to help prevent another.
